All by all this shows that the developers are far from finished, in the meanwhile they also give their fans a transparent insight on what they are working on. Later this year, we are able to domesticated certain animals by turning them into livestock or pets. Soon we are able to use rotatable stairs and divide our settlements into districts. So far the developers are working on some interesting updates which will come throughout 2018.
Besides this, the most important part of the patch will be the last sequence of the game, where you will either stop the meteor or let it destroy your world. As well as improved visuals to the waterfalls and pop up interactions. This patch will include improved avatars which build further on the new avatars that got added in patch 6.3. The moment early access goes live on steam, patch 6.4 will go live as well.
When playing multiplayer this allows players to analyze data and take on laws on how to divide and use resources before animals go extinct or the pollution gets worst. But, taking too many resources will destroy the planet. It’s your goal to survive a meteor that is threatening the world, by doing so you will have to build, farm, harvest and take resources from your environment. While the looks of the game might remember you of Minecraft, Eco dives way deeper into the understanding of the world and its ecosystem. While it might looks similar to some survivals games out there, Eco gives an insight on the importance of a functioning ecosystem by challenging you to survive besides it without destroying it. It is a vicious cycle that plagues literally every server I've been to.Eco is a survival game by the developers Strange Loop games. The people that will give into demands get used for selfish needs either knowingly or by ignorance and will eventually leave once they see the scheme or inevitably receive nothing in return by their supposed friends. If you will not give them free things then they will convince anyone and everyone to take your role even if it means impacting the entire server. The people that will not give into demands leave the server because the first group does not allow them to progress. People that will give into demands and people that will not. Instead these all too common people will divide everyone into one of two groups. But if they do not buy or sell goods then others do not have the resources they need. As you cannot learn every skill in high or medium collab servers someone else must take that other skill so that the server as a whole can progress.
This ties into the second point, but every server I have ever been a part of always has people that either demand things for free from others all while having selfish intentions and never giving back to the community, or hoard everything between them and their friends. Lastly, this might be one of the most toxic communities I've ever been apart of. You can join a low collaboration server but then what is the point in 3/4 of the game mechanics. With multiple people under the same residency in game they can amass so much xp in such a little time that once you come back in they are leaps and bounds ahead of you making the goods you produce almost worthless. Often what happens even on high collaboration servers is that a group of friends will come in and just take over every corner of the market. The world keeps revolving while you aren't there. Second, If you have a job or kids or really any responsibility in life this is not the game for you. Meaning you either play a broken mess or just try and wait it out. Even obvious problems that should be caught 5 minutes into testing a patch go released. They patch one thing just to break 5 other mechanics.
However, I don't recommend this game.įirst off, I get making a game can be extremely complex but they cant seem to get an update right. I see what the developers are going for and it would be a ton of fun.
